Jon Peter Lewis Concert

Jon Peter Lewis, former American Idol contestant, stopped in Provo while on tour promoting his new album Break the Silence. I had met him the day before at the UVU Baseball game just before he sang the National Anthem. He is a real down to earth guy and I enjoyed meeting him. His manager contacted me to take some pictures of his concert so here are some pictures from last night.

Opening the show for the night was Katie Brandeburg, playing the guitar while singing.

The following act was The Nadas (IOWA) which continued to raise the intensity of the night and get the crowd involved.

Playing in front of friends and family Jon Peter Lewis put on a good show along with his band members.

Following Jon was Donnie Bonelli & The Kites which were also fun to watch and listen to.

All in all, I feel that I was able to get some good pictures and have a good time. Amy and I both enjoyed Jon's music as well as the other bands.

Engagements: Josh and Nichole

Yesterday I went and took some engagement pictures for an old roommate of mine. He's getting married in June and it was fun to see him and his fiancee and their shared excitement for each other.

Synergy

The Dance Department of Utah Valley University presented Synergy Dance Company’s spring concert “Refract” on March 6th. I went to take pictures to get them into the paper. I really enjoy photographing the dance department because of the strong lines.

Linkin Park

After photographing the Competition I went on another assignment to photograph the Linkin Park Concert at the E Center. I was able to photograph the opening bands as well.
